Girl Friday Associates Is a Green Company

As we become more and more aware of today’s standards to become “green” and environmentally conscious, Girl Friday Associates is proud to participate in this important issue. Because our services are mainly web-based, minimal amounts of paper are used in our daily transactions, as everything is completed online or over the phone. Unless specifically requested, all of our print-outs are double-sided and produced on paper that is at least 35% post-consumer waste.

Additionally, we do not use traditional paper calendars, as all executive calendars are tracked on Outlook’s calendaring system. Post-it Notes are a thing of the past at Girl Friday Associates. Communication with our clients is mainly conducted electronically through email, IM, our website or via telephone. Our invoices are produced and emailed electronically and we have electronic accounts receivable capabilities. In instances where our services are needed at a client’s site, we utilize hybrid and fuel economical vehicles as our mode of transportation.

The office supplies we do order are all made of recycled material and our own recycle bins are used to reduce waste in the landfill. Our office is equipped with ample natural lighting to ensure minimal electricity is utilized. We’ve even gone so far as to ensure our faucets have aerators and other plumbing is low-flow.
